Campion College Special with Fr John Fleming

May 30, 2008 at Unite Adelaide
Fr John Fleming, President of Campion College, Sydney, presented the story of Campion College to Unite Adelaide.

Fr John argued the need for a Catholic liberal arts college in Australia and why school leavers should investigate a future at Campion College. Fr John's background in politics, bioethics and in the media (radio) underpinned his argument. He demonstrated a critical view of the philosophy of the modern world, uncovering its contradictions and how the Catholic voice is being muted. Fr John empowered us to respond to our Baptismal promises and graces we received to witness to truth and justice in a confused and an ever increasing immoral world.

Of course the pizza was scrumptious and it was so good to catch up on all the news from the past month.

We missed Deacon Matthew's blurb this month but await a double shot next time- June 27 with Bishop Greg O'Kelly.

This will be the last UA before World Youth Day08- so come along for Bishop O'Kelly's send off

See you then!
